just keep thinking of the pictures youve already drawn but change certain areas like the hair, face, eyes, nose etc. just think of where everything normally is but change it. or do what i do and copy off a picture but change the areas. like if you copy a picture of an anime character but make his face wider, or change his hairstyle.

and when you do that, its bascially your own work.
and its not copyright either :D
